Recorded Call Archiving

We’ve updated our call recording archive process to make easier for you to find call recordings when you need them. You can access your recordings through your Call Activity and through your Call Recording Archive.

How Recordings Are Archived

Before we look at how to access your call recordings, it’s important to understand how and when your recordings are archived.

  1. A call recording is available to be played and downloaded from your Call Activity page, for four (4) weeks from the date it was recorded. Go to Calls on the main menu, then Call Activity, then choose the Recorded tab. You can filter your calls list by name, phone number, or a date range.
  2. Each week, on Sunday nights, call recordings which are older than four weeks are archived into a weekly dated batch and can be downloaded from your Recorded Call Archive. On the main menu go to Calls, then Recorded Call Archive.
  3. Weekly archive batches are available to be downloaded for six (6) months. After six months in the archive, a batch is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
  4. If you need a permanent archive of your call recordings, you must download your weekly archives and save them in your own data storage.

Accessing Your Call Recordings

Call recordings that are less than four(4) weeks olds are still active and can be accessed through your Call Activity page. Filter the calls list by name, phone number, or a date range to locate a call. Use the play button to listen or download the recording.

Call recordings that are older than four weeks, and have already been archived, are no longer active to be played but they can still be found through your Call Activity page. Filter the calls list by name, phone number, or a date range to locate a call. Use the play button then you can download the weekly archive that contains the call recording you want.

Call recordings that are older than four weeks, and have already been archived, can be accessed through the Call Recording Archive page. You can sort and filter the archive list by date to find the batch you need.
