“Skip tracing tactics may be employed by a skip tracer, debt collector, process server, bail bondsman or bail agency enforcer (bounty hunters), repossession agent, private investigator, lawyer, police detective, journalist, stalker or by any person attempting to locate a subject whose contact information is not immediately known. Similar techniques have also been utilized by investigators to locate witnesses in criminal trials.”
You’re not doing skip tracing.
You’re a real estate investor. You’re not a skip tracer. You’re not trying to find a nefarious character or someone on the lam. You’re not trying to find someone who owes you money, serve someone divorce papers, put someone in jail, or repossess a car. You’re not hiding around the corner waiting to get some dirt on someone. You’re not doing any of this. You’re trying to find a customer and you need a service made for a business, not a bounty hunter.
You’re doing people search.
