Import your list or build a new one.
To send a bulk text message you first need to create a contact group in the Contact Manager. You can create contact groups by importing a list or by creating a new group and adding existing contacts to it.
Send bulk text messages, but reply 1-to-1
Just because you send a bulk message, doesn’t mean you have to reply in bulk. Replies to your bulk text messages come into the Messages screen of your account so you can carry on those two-way conversations 1-to-1. You can also access text conversations with a contact from their individual contact record in the Contact Manager.
Personalize your messages
You can personalize your bulk text messages with first names or first and last names. You can also chose the salutation you like best: hi, hello, hey, or hola. When you import your list to a contact group or enter your contacts manually, be sure to include first and last names so they are available to be included when you send a bulk text.
Schedule your messages
You can create and send a bulk text message in just minutes, but you can also schedule your bulk sends for a later date and/or a later time. When your message sends, you’ll receive an email to confirm your send was completed.
See your send history
Your bulk text sending history is saved to your contact groups so you know what has been sent previously to that group. The send history includes the date and time, the message, how many good phone numbers received your message, and how many bad phone numbers didn’t.

BellesLink gives you the tools to maintain compliance for bulk text messaging such as opt-in requests and opt-out messages. The most important compliance requirement to understand is express written consent.
Express written consent
According to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), customers must give businesses “express written consent” before the business sends them text messages. Even text messages that are merely informational require consent.
When you send a text message to a contact who does not have an opt-in recorded in the BellesLink system, you will be required to self-certify that you have express written consent to text that phone number.
